Like Something Which I've Never Seen is a photographic and text based mixed media study of the cultures surrounding thylacine sightings in Tasmania.  The exhibition takes the viewer to a surreal space where the everyday meets the otherworldly and mysterious, and where dreams and enigmas are fused with other media like TV and science fiction.  The exhibition looks at the intersection of sightings of an animal declared extinct with people's lives in the unfolding of everyday dramas.  1 March - 1 June 2013 Allport Library and Museum of Fine Arts LINC Tasmania Ground Floor 91 Murray Street Hobart Mon-Fri 9.30am-5pm and Sat 9.30-2pm FREE ADMISSION
